The Bellingham Dulcimer Club - aka the BDC - is located in the City of Bellingham in Whatcom County in Washington State. Club members are local folks with a shared interest in the Appalachian mountain dulcimer. Club activities include meetings/song circles on the 2nd Saturday afternoon of most months and performances of dulcimer music at venues within the County.
Market Place
Local availability of Appalachian mountain dulcimers and accessories is pretty limited in Bellingham and Whatcom County. However, potential sources do exist. For example,from time to time, Club members want to offer their dulcimers and/or dulcimer-related items for sale. When such items become available, they will be listed here.

For Sale: Black Mountain Dulcimer -Model 58 The top of this instument is solid Cedar with heart shaped soundholes, and the back, sides and fingerboard are American Cherrywood. Chrome geared tuners. It has a scroll head, four string set up, nickel/silver fretted fingerboards with strum hollow. Strings were recently replaced and the instrument is tuned to DAD. Length, width, and depth are 32" x 7 1/2" x 2 5/8". Scale length" is 25 7/8". Nice little starter dulcimer.
