June Jam

Our next jam is on June 11 at 1:30,  4780 Corona Court, Bellingham. We have a lots of tunes to share and if you have a special song please bring a few copies of the music to share.We have been enjoying playing in other keys, lots of E minor tunes as well as dulcimer classics. Come join healing sounds and let your mind and heart run free. If you play other instruments you are very welcome to bring them and join in; as they say "The more , the merrier".

May Update

The May jam was fun with Jerry demonstrating some of  the. skills he learned at Menucha Dulcimer Festival. Gary also brought along his new auto harp and accompanied the group; a real treat, just a beautiful sounding instrument along with the expertise of the player!

Speaking of good players, a small group was called to play for the Garden St. UMC Women's Luncheon. Both musicians and listeners were very pleased. BJ, Leslie and Pat, thanks for representing our group in the community.

So, if you are interested in becoming part of this growing group please think about coming to our two weekly practices.

March 2016 Jam

We had a good turnout core group of 8 at Corona Court for our March meeting.We had fun learning "Danny Boy" with Jerry's help and a special thanks to Barry for enhancing our sound with autoharp, fiddle and penny whistle, such talent among us is treasured. In sticking with the Irish/ Sottish traditional songs we were able to play until we were finally came to the end of our session. It is truly a pleasure having such a talented group to "jam" with, Thank you All.

We encourage all musicians, whether you play dulcimer or not, to join us for our monthly Jams, second Saturday of each month at Corona Court Clubhouse, Bellingham.

February JAM 2016

Happy February and Valentines Day

Our monthly JAM is at our new meeting clubhouse at 3230 Corona Ct., Bellingham. Come join us from 1 - 3:30 for a JAM packed afternoon of strumming. Our goal this month is to review some tunes we have recently been working on in practice groups and to practice the music for end of February gathering in Ferndale.

January Update

We have had a good start to 2016. For our monthly jams the new venue, Corona Court Clubhouse, off Cordata Pkwy in Bellingham, is working very nicely; it's a large place, comfortable, tea and coffee usually available and a nice fireplace.

Remember we meet on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 - 3:30. We start with review and learning a new piece but after that we play and keep the strummin going!

We have 2 practices a week.

Mondays.          2:30 - 4:00               2121 Birch Cr., Bellingham, Sunrise Clubhouse

Wednesday.   11:00 - 1:00.              3115 Squalicum Parkway,Bellingham;
